EMBO Global Lecture Courses can only be organized in Brazil, Chile, Canada, China, India, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. Details can be found here.
Please note that for lecture courses taking place in India, organizers should apply for an India | EMBO Lecture Course.
The lecture course must cover a topic from the life sciences, and organizers must provide a convincing justification that the course addresses a need in the local scientific community.
Course organizers can be of any nationality and be based in any country in the world. The scientific organizing committee must be geographically and gender diverse, and come from more than one institute representing the topics covered in the meeting.
