3 June 2024 – The director of the IGSTC, R. Madhan, and its chief scientific officer, P V Lalitha, visited EMBO in Heidelberg on 24 May 2024. In a meeting with EMBO Director Fiona Watt and further representatives of EMBO, they discussed how to advance cooperation between life scientists through the opportunities offered by the two organizations. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the cooperation with the EMBC Associate Member State India further.
“India is an important partner for EMBO and the IGSTC programmes are well-aligned with our activities. We believe both organizations will benefit from amplifying one another’s opportunities for researchers in India and Germany, and continue fostering scientific collaboration,” says EMBO Director Fiona Watt.
