27 April 2022 – EMBO offers a two-month extension to help alleviate the impact of lab closures and delays related to the COVID pandemic to its postdoctoral fellows. The extension applies to all awardees on active EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships as of 31 October 2021 who are still in the programme. The eligible fellows have been informed about the administrative process.
In the early phase of the pandemic, EMBO was one of the first organizations that offered extensions to postdoctoral fellows to lessen the impact of research time that was lost. All awardees on active EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships as of 16 March 2020 had been granted a first two-month extension.
With these extensions, EMBO continues to support early-career researchers and contributes to mitigating the effects of the pandemic on their careers. Read more about EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships and apply here.
