Applications must meet the following criteria to be considered for funding:
- The topic covered in the course must be within the life sciences.
- Scientists based anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, independent of their nationality.
- Lecture courses must take place in India.
- The scientific organizing committee must be gender-diverse and include members from more than one institute. At least one of the organizers must be based outside India.
